The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

Book-length: 200 pages

Another great book, I am very grateful to God that he has made me aware of all the good book available in this world, which I can read and better myself.

Do you think that you change your life by making great big decisions?

If you think so, this book will prove to you that you have been thinking in the wrong direction.

Life is not about making great big decisions, it is about making tiny small decisions continuously that will create a long-lasting impact in your life.

This book is about making the power of compounding work in your favour.

These tiny habits and changes will look very negligible in a small period of time but when you see it in the long run, these small changes are what will make the difference between those who are successful and those who are not.

Our life is dictated by the choices we make and the habits we have. So this book will help you get the right mindset to make great choices and great habits.

Attitude is Everything by Jeff Keller

Book Length: 144 pages

I have written a whole post on how this book changed my life. Read that here: Attitude is Everything

This book revolves around only one thing which is the attitude on how you respond to the situations in life.

See, the fact is very simple you always have a choice to look at things as an opportunity or a problem.

Every damn thing in your life is made up of the choices you make.

Didn’t get it?

Wait I’ll give you some examples

You take the elevator rather than stairs, you made a choice. You chose to be lazy than to burn some calories.

If the elevators would have not worked, rather than cringing and complaining, you could have said to yourself, okay let me lose some more calories today.

You see the choices you make, and your attitude plays a crucial role in the choices or the decisions you make.

The book Attitude is Everything very well defines that just a change in attitude can change your life.

The tag line of the book also says, change your attitude and change your life.

As I mentioned earlier, this book was one of the life-changing books for me and that is why I included it in the list of best books under 200 pages.

I can go on writing about this book, but you will learn more after you read that book.

I am damn sure, that book will definitely change your life.

I won’t write takeaways for this book as I have written a separate post for this book: Attitude is Everything

Favourite Quotes

1. A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

2. Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

If you think handling or operating a business is tough, maybe you are not aware of how to do business the way this book tells you.

This is one such book, which tells you how you limit yourself from reaching your greater potential,  this book will teach you everything which you need to know to achieve personal, financial, career and relationship success.

A Stoic’s Diary by Dipanshu Rawal

Stoicism is an ancient philosophy full of wisdom which teaches how we can control our emotions, how to change our perception on how we look at things, take strong actions and willingly accept what is not under our control.

Some of the best and wise ever lived on the planets are hard stoics such as Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, Seneca, Zeno and also people like John D Rockefeller who in his times was the richest person on the planet.

Stoicism does not mean becoming emotionless, it means to take control of our emotions and not be slaves of our emotions.

This is a very small book which will make you aware of Stoicism. I highly recommend this book for beginners, I also interviewed Dipanshu Rawal, do check out the interview if you are interested.

Also, check out Ryan Holiday’s youtube channel based on Stoicism
